It's a beast for sure. Was gonna wait for it but opted for the 50i for the quality and luxury components. Have had grand cherokees in the family a long time and and aside from jeep/Chrysler being a pain to deal with, I've always felt they overpriced their grand Cherokees for what they were. Especially the SRT. That drivetrain was never worth $20-25k more than their 5.7L hemi fully loaded grand Cherokee imho. Forget about trying to leaseswap or get out of one with them cuz they don't allow it. (My 60yr old mom who walks with a cane recently discovered this a few months back when a salesman talked her into a new wrangler unlimited after she was turning in a leased grand Cherokee, needless to say she now hates this vehicle as the novelty of how "hip" she thought she was has worn off hahahaha) yes she's been told she's not allowed to purchase vehicles anymore without me involved.

Once you option it out its almost 100K. Not too far off from invoice price on a X5M. Sure the jeep is quicker stock for stock but its not worth the money to me.

I briefly considered this as a replacement to the M5. I had some concerns with build quality and ordered an X5 ///M instead.

Base MSRP of $86k with almost a $100k price tag in the end with an interior and tech of a $40k vehicle. Sounds like a deal.
