Good Deal?

Hey Guys,

Is this anyone on the forum?

http://www.autotrader.ca/a/BMW/M/NOR...O&orup=7_15_59

Seems to be a pretty good price for a low kms M4 right? .... debating between getting a used M4 or a new M550...... I know very different cars but seems like used M4's are in a sweet spot for value right now.

Let me know your thoughts.

Depends on how much original factory is left, get carproof, all service records. It's a 3 model years old car and it could be in service for 3 yrs or a bit more.

If it is in service for full 3 yrs, then the asking price is a high, IMO ... even though the mileage is pretty low.

Not a bad deal. If you don't mind spending a bit more, you may want to wait for one with a competition package. A 2016 with CP should go for around 65 to 70k.

IMO it's a high price. Wait and get a 2016 with Competition package for high 60s.

Most are high 70s. 15's with 50,000km are mid 60s.

That would be quite high. You could buy a new 2018 CP for under 80k, mind you with no other options.

Nobody does this though. And then you have to wait 6 months for delivery. People will pay more if the car is clean and available immediately (with some options).
Another interesting fact - manual M3's are worth more than DCT in canada from what I can see on the auctions.

Man you're so right about the wait. This wait has been a killer for me and i sold my E90 M3 two months ago. I wont have my new car in town until maybe mid-Nov.

2-3 months is a walk in the park - ordered my M3 last December - just before they announced the production break from march to July - didn't make the cut due to individual color (LSB) - should be here in October thou - hopefully!

That price is stupid. I literally just bought an '18 ZCP for 74k. Didn't go crazy with options, but did choose DCT and Apple Car Play.

That car is low 80s plus freight and dealer fees. Plus we pay 13% tax as well. My 15 I bought I paid like $6K in tax which is ridiculous and without my trade would have been $7900 in tax. Disgusting

Though with the exchange rate, they are actually cheaper in Canada after converting to USD.

That's a crazy low price to accept for a 17, wow. Even 71K is an amazing deal compared to what is on the market.

Depends heavily on the options on the car. If it was bare bones, seems reasonable.
