Not sure if this is the right spot. Admins if not, I apologize. So I have until December 31st to change my mind. Long story short, I have ordered a 2018 MG M3; however, I recently built one with Tanzanite Blue and it has really begun to grow on me. What to do? Just looking for some sort of insight, not sure what, but something.

It is, just seeing if I can fish out some opinions. Maybe someone got a color that they thought they loved, then they changed their mind and traded in their car and got a different color.

I used to own a MG F80 and it was my favorite color...I loved the look of it, very stealth, ,lots of depth, etc...tanzanite is a very special color but more flashy, which is what I didn't want. Good luck, great problem to have.

MG w/SO interior goes well together. If you go with TB, I suggest going all in and getting Amaro Brown extended merino leather. It's like wearing a blue/navy suit, brown belt/shoes pairs well. Red interior would look a bit odd.

MG is way too common among Non-M cars, nice color, but I bet you'll be happier with Tanzanite. It sounds like you're having doubts about it already and the car isn't even built yet. I wouldn't settle on MG if you're questioning that choice.

I want to do all the normal CF pieces on the outside:
Splitter Diffuser Mirror caps High Kick spoiler Etcetera... I'm afraid maybe the blue will wash out the CF accents, where as the grey will show them off more. Hell I don't know. Why do major adult life decisions have to be so hard?!

Both colors look great in the sun. Though to my eyes, Tanzanite tends to look darker in shade or low lighting so that it looks like a dark blue or even black.
MG seems to absorb all levels of light and reflects the lines of the car nicely. Can't go wrong with both colors, it's your money after all.

I think both cars are absolutely sex in person and by themselves. Just gorgeous colors. But living in the land of black, grey, and white cars (California) they lose their appeal to me because I feel like they will just blend in. However, I probably would still get one. Why you ask? (you didn't) Because both have killer looks for different reasons. The Tanzanite looks so refined and classy. I can see myself tracking it and driving in a suit to a meeting/court. The MG is just stealthy looking as hell. With some minor mods it looks really good - almost fighter jet good. So I am not any help. Though both cars will wash out any CF mods. There just is not enough contrast.
Although I will say that the Sakhir Orange interior on the Tanzanite would not only be unique but I suspect really sexy.

MG....one of the most boring colors for an M car. Heck I've seen three MG M4s on sale on one of our local car selling sites in Dubai for more than 6 months....noone is buying them....
Tanzanite blue is like 20 times more exciting... PS: No offense to any MG color owner, just not my cup of tea...

X10 (Tanzantie), but Silverstone full leather interior. Monochromatic blue hue from Silverstone reflecting the darker blue Tanzantie.

Thus why I ordered X10 for a upcoming flashy F83. We all have our personal preference, which is great since BMW offers unlimited colors via the Individual program. I'm going to side swipe this, but has anyone been able to have Pure Silver on a F80/F82/F83?

Definitely depends on taste. I have MG and love it. But I have always loved dark grey on cars. the Tanzanite is much more flashy, so just depends on what you're looking for.

Agree with your point, OP do you want to blend in (MG) or stand out (X10)?

Attached is previous car. It's no M3, but the factory paint always had heads turning and people gawking.
