McLaren engines have our exact oil filter cover?

I found an old image of a McLaren TT V8 engine and the oil filter cover oddly looks exactly like the one on our M3's.

Makes sense. Bosch probably makes it and it is the same size or close enough to a design they have used before so they recycled it.
