Is there a deadline for Individual as EOP approaches?

Maybe I imagined it, but I thought I read in passing a comment that there would be no more Individual orders after a certain point. Is this true?

I may be interested in an Individual leather interior color or perhaps stitching. I'm penciling in late June 2018 ED for an F80. Last two ED orders (2003 & 2011) I only had to order ~3 months in advance (no Individual items). How soon should I place an order for that time frame?

I would place no later than April for an October pick up date

If the interior is Individual Manufaktur then I would suggest to start working with your dealers now. You will realize that regardless of how much customization you want, it will take months for Individual to understand and approve what you want. I will be longer if your dealer is not on top of Individual.

If your interior is Individual then the standard 6-months in advance max for ED order will do.

And yes, Individual may stop accepting orders at a certain time during the last year of EOP. The more reason for you to start asking your dealer now.

I would self-impose a deadline of January 2018. The reason being that mistakes happen, and if you push your delivery too close to the end of production (or the actual date for the end of Individual ordering), they won't have time to correct any problems that may arise. (See Atlantic vs. Atlantis blue from a few years back.)

Mistakes happen on Individual orders from time to time. Give yourself some cushion.
