Spotify issues anyone?

Searched the forum but nothing comes up..

Spotify used to appear in my multimedia menu when I connected the iphone to the usb cable and opened the app. Now it doesnt even show up and the only option I have is to use bmw native music app which is slower and doesnt detect my playlist so I have to control the music using the phone (not safe).

Anyway, does anybody know how to fix this?

Im a dumbass. With a bit more googling I found that I just had to update the iDrive software.
Follow this dude's guide on how to do it
