M exhaust wasn't installed. I couldn't believe it. Port install and dealer didn't check and now dealer working on putting one on tomorrow.

I don't bame you, nor would I. Sounds like CA didn't submit paper work for PIA MPPE.

I'm pretty surprised that they didn't catch this before it left Germany and when it got to Halifax and when it got to the dealer. It's pretty easy to see it's not an MPE.

Maybe it is different for Canada, but MPE is a port installed option in the USA. Meaning it is not installed in Germany and has to be installed at port. In addition, for the USA, the MPE cannot be installed at port for ED cars (cannot remember if you were ED or not) but has to be installed at the dealer.

If Canada is the same, then it explains why you did not have it installed. If not, then I do not know anything and ignore this.

Yeah I was told that they don't do port installed options anymore so that's why they didn't install it. I think you will start hearing complaints from people ordering the ultimate package as well. MPE would not be done at the factory either. It's all messed up in Canada right now.

Either way, I negotiated that I get to keep the CP exhaust. Now I can at least sell it.

Look at Snappy Phoenix posts that he had a friend install the ZCP exhaust from his F83 and it sounded awful in a non-ZCP F8x. Has to be something else with the DME for the ZCP.

Just a follow up, dealer dragging the MPE install. Haven't taken delivery yet but kinda ruined the whole "new car delivery"experience.

Sorry man, that sucks. The good is that you'll have a chance to try out the sport exhuast and appreciate the MPE even more, plus you'll make some money back on the CP exhaust sale.

Yes next time Laval might get my business. Just bad customer service from Canbec.
