CF spoiler w/minor crack after adhesive became loose. Does the shop have any blame?

Why are you lifting the trunk from the spoiler when there's a spot just under the BMW logo made specifically for lifting the trunk? Lifting it from the corner puts a ton of stress on the spoiler because you're putting not only the entire weight of the trunk but the hydraulics into said spoiler. And if my understanding of physics is correct, because you're lifting from the edge, all of the stress is going into the middle of spoiler (i assume this is where the crack is) because the other edge is braced against the trunk. Basically you're folding the spoiler in half every time you lift from the corner.

Short answer: In my opinion, nope. This one's on you. You dun goof'd.
