Diagnosis Assistance - Limp mode and several codes
Hi Gents,
I have been struggling with stalling and limp mode on cold starts on my 08' ESS E93 with 55,000 miles if I leave the car over night. When I start the car it revs to 1300 and drops to 400 or so before it recovers in limp mode. Generally runs rough like a cammed old school V8. If I clear the codes, the issue goes away and I can drive normally all day until I leave the car overnight again. I thought I might have had the throttle actuator failure and replaced bank 2 as the service records show that bank one was previously done. Well that was not it. The codes I am getting are as follows but I cant seem to decipher them to direct me to the failure: 2B55 - Electronic Throttle Control Monitor Level 2/3 Torque Calculation Error 2B29 - Moment manager monitoring 2B57 - Safety Concept Torque Limitation Level 1 27B1 - Secondary air system throughput bank 2 27A8 ? 2796 ? After dishing out for a throttle actuator I didn't actually need, I am hoping someone can help point me in the right direction with the codes present. I have searched and have found no definitive answers. Thank you in advance |
