113 Miles Too Many???

An individual M3 caught my attention and so I started bs-ing numbers with the GM. Long story short, we are only a couple of hundred bucks between us, but I was taken back when I asked for a pic of the odometer and saw 113 miles--likely abused test driven miles on the clock!! Car has only been on the lot since Sept, but yet there are that many miles. Would this discourage you from purchasing?

It's not "new". I would want more of a "discount". It's one thing to have 9 factory miles but another to have a bunch of CA test drives. Good luck

How are you liking the F Type? Getting back into an ///M?

I have to say it already is an aggressive deal which is the only reason the GM has my attention. Close to 12.75% off with all applicable incentives. Maybe those 100+ miles aint so bad

I have a love/dislike relationship with the F-Type. Currently, I'm in the dislike phase.

I'm getting $10,505 off on a 78k car so I'm not sure your deal is so good for a not brand new car.

The car is new guys But I understand what you and Yoda are saying about it being "new." That's why I'm asking for a few more bucks. Is 12-13% off the norm these days? I haven't been in the market for a couple of months

113 miles is nothing OP. If you love the car and are comfortable with the price then go for it!

This all started by accident with her X5. For some reason dealerships always want to get me out of my Jags!

If you're leasing, who cares about the miles and test drives already on it. If you're purchasing and expect to keep it past the warranty, make the dealer throw in a 1 or 2 year extended warranty, problem solved!

113 miles would not stop me from getting an M3 if it ticked every must have box for me.

Yeah, it would be a lease, and you are absolutely right. I just want to avoid any light wear/tear from possible rock chips/swirls from all those spirited joyrides. The car is out of state and I haven't seen it in real life.

What discount are they offering you for a brand new one? If its much less and this car has all the options, colour combinations you like, i say go for it.

what's a few hundred bucks at that stage? a couple grand would be different, but 300-500 difference for an individual might be well worth it.

interesting on the f-type. i'm trying to work a dealer down here to take a 2017 off their hands for even less than they're asking. which is already a huge discount at this point. the wife loves the car, but not the current reduced price. trying to go another 5-6k lower.

That's just it, I'm not entirely sure I want to unload the Jag, so I'm likely using these test driven miles and the few bucks between us to possibly deter me from making the deal. However, I'm a BMW nut job, and when I'm effortlessly offered a deal, I start chasing my tail again!

All the incentives already discussed here. However, these are for the States, not sure what is being offered up North

Better yet just make the dealer pay you to take the car. With 113 miles its essentially worthless.

Great deals to be had in East coast for sure.
$4500 discount from MSRP is getting into dealer's hold-back, last month I asked around dealers in West-coast, many says hardly any discount cause so much demand in here
But then BMWNA pumps in $2000 holiday bonus for West-Coast(if demand so high BMWNA wouldn't need to throw in money into the trunk, right?), I guess many dealers must be smoking illegal weeds or something
