Are BMW M Performance Parts Residualized?
I ordered my M3 and got a good deal, but the local dealer is saying that the black kidney grill and spoiler that I want to install aren't residualized into the price of the car. Is that true? When I go online onto BMWs payment calculator, it is residualized...

Yes your dealer is correct they cannot be residualized. The online configurator does that because it is as if you ordered the car with those options (and they are installed at port not your dealer) so the window sticker has it included as an option you purchased from the factory. In contrast anything installed after the car hits the lot cannot be residualized, meaning your lease payments are calculated off of MSRP (which will not include those options unless port installed) and not any additional parts you add.

Parts you wanted to residualize had to be ordered when the car was ordered.

Right, before my car was officially ordered, I wanted a spoiler and the kidney grills and they said that those parts aren't residualized and are port only options. Looks like they were wrong
