LUX help
Hey everyone I need your guys' help. I've watched all the diys and I've tried more than5 times but every time I put in the lux angel eyes I get condensation in my headlights. Where do you guys place the ballast? Any tips or tricks that will help me?

Bottom of the housing against the back. Line it up and use double sided tape to secure. It's a tight fit but works.

That's where I put it... but I'll try it again tonight when I get home. If it doesn't work this time I'm just going to have to learn to love the oem look

Tons of people have installed them so just take your time and you'll get there. It's a PITA with the headlights in the car since there isn't much room to work but I've changed my AE's several times (units with ballasts) like that with success.

I had to cut off a small piece of plastic on the back cover of the passenger side I believe to make the ballast sit flush in position. This video dose a decent job.

I did cut off that piece and shaved it down. I have the Lux 180 and I couldn't get it to fit quite right. I'll try it again though

Yea kind of a pain, but as far as condensation goes, make sure the back cover is placed properly with the 2 bottom prongs inserted in the slots to form a tight seal. There should be no play or wiggle with the cover on.

I will literally give anyone that can put the covers on properly with no condensation or AHL lights $50. I am so fucking fed up. I KNOW I put it on right last night. And lo and behold, there's condensation again

Had same problem even with back plate inserted and sealed correctly. Ended up putting a bunch of silicone all along the foam seal, which apparently wears out over time... No problems since =)

Maybe there's a flaw in your bulbs. They could have a deformed base that's letting moisture in...
I'm not an expert in angel eyes, though...

I think you mean silica. I was talking about gasket maker (tube of silicone, like 6$ at autozone or something) and put a nice thick layer all along the perimeter of the back plate. I said foam and now that think about it, it might've been rubber gasket that's meant to seal back plate and housing.
