Uneven suspension
Hey folks,
I noticed the other day my right rear of the car is 15mm (1/2 inch) lower than the left. The car suspension, wheels etc are all stock. Any ideas on what I should inspect or some common issues that it may be for me to look into further? |

Blown shock? Is it riding weird or just the height?

It is almost always a worn shock.

I noticed my 1 series sits uneven when the parking brake is on almost all the time. With the parking brake off on a flat surface my car sits fairly symmetrical.

Dare I say this is normal. I noticed that my right rear wheel(also sat lower) when my car was only a few months old from new. It just doesn't bother me. I think all springs over time will take on a little "set".
In fact I think bc of all the high speed driving I have done... that my car looks much lower to me than other US spec cars(135i's) I have seen over here. my US spec 135i... w/225's and 255's PS3's on stock wheels... I really would not be too concerned over it. There was a thread about the low ride height... Left Rear about an inch lower than right rear http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=804085 Variation in ride height? http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=476941 Here was my car's ride height... http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showp...27&postcount=9 Dackel
