Beware/Avoid **********s.com aka BodMargains

After the debacle with Bimland, decided to get a red start button from **********s. If the name is blocked, the shops name rhymes with BodMargains. Received it in the mail and this one was shittier than the first one. Contacted Alan with BodMargains with some pics, and he acknowledge it was junk. I sent it back, and apparently it was damaged in transit to them. Because of this they are denying my return. So as it turns out the GM Alan Wei is a POS who does not care at all about his customers being happy. Never buyig from them, and will absolutely be telling my story on all the forums I visit.

Shit... I guess I lucked out with mine. My button from Bimland looks just like the photos from their site and IND, also fits like oem. Now you guys are making me paranoid that mine will start to fade over time or something.

That’s a really odd story, not sure how a start button could be damaged in transit. I worked with Alan to order my wheels. He was very helpful and hooked me up with a great deal. Wheels won’t be here until July so I’ll wait before giving a final review but so far so good with mod bargains for me.

The one I got from Bimland looked good, only problem is it had a little nick right next to the second T in start.

these are buttons that weigh almost nothing.... how are these possibly getting damaged and chipped during shipping?

How much is a real one from BMW? Isn't it stock for the GTS?

Dang, the button was the first thing I bought from them, they messaged me to pre-order it a while ago and I thought it looked awesome. Sorry for your experience man.

I am sure there are a ton of people with good experiences, but it is inexcusable for a business to not fulfill their duty to either provide a product in line with what is shown on the website, or provide a refund.

I’m surprised MB hasn’t chimed in here. I too don’t understand the reasoning behind not replacing the button.

Can we be honest here about the buttons. They look like shit on the car anyway. I can't believe the hysteria on everyone adding these to their cars. We added it and it was such an eyesore that it was off within 24 hours. Sorry about your issue Taco.

Edit: I bought it from another member who had it on his car for 24hrs. Not sure what Tewie thinks about it but I sold it to him.

I've installed all 3 brands of these red start/stop buttons...Bimland being the worst in fit and finish (crooked fit, dull/matte finish), MB fit was perfectly fine but the finish was 8/10 (not completely smooth, slight orange peel), and IND had the best fit and finish (smooth glossy finish).

I replaced my bimland start/stop with IND as well. Massive difference in quality.

It gets stuck inside the bezel when I start/stop the engine. Visually I think it would look better if there wasn't a brushed SS ring around the button assembly. Also, my car is Melbourne Red/Fox Red so it kinda goes with the color theme. I think it's okay if you want to switch things up for cheap but beware the fitnent might not be perfect.

Weird, it fit perfectly in my car. But I have good news, everything I manufacture and sell is given with a money back guarantee on top of the lifetime warranty that I offer. Of course there is a re stocking fee but that can always be negotiated as I hire illegals therefore I don't have to pay taxes, social and so on. This is how I am able to keep costs down on re stocking and repackaging.

Might want to spend some of your profits fixing that black ring around the expensive button...
