3rd time's a charm!

Guys-

I am back and yes, I'm that guy that bought the 2007 Aston Martin Vantage a time back. Anyway- after previously owning a 2008 DCT, 2013 DCT ZCP and after much searching I just found a 2012 6MT ZCP, 39,000 miles!!! Only requirements missing was the carbon fiber roof and carbon leather interior dash. This one has the brushed aluminum dash along with the moon roof. Ok, fine! Small price to pay for this gem I found but I'll take it! All three - Jerez black, black Navillo leather, premium sound system, competition package which was a must. Pretty much loaded!

Back story- I sold my 2013 DCT ZCP about three months ago and have been on the search ever since to find the right 6MT that was garage kept, no accidents, no damage, no mods, no more than two owners and pretty well maintained. I can tell you it has been a serious challenge! Yes, these cars are out there (6MT's especially) but finding the right one is not easy if you're as picky as I am. I even paid $400 last month to transport a 6MT from Carmax in SC! Worst $400 I ever spent!

Anyway - Earlier this week one popped up as a new listing at Hendrick BMW in Charlotte, NC for $38,000. I'm in Northern VA just outside DC.

I put down a $1000 deposit the very next morning and flew down praying this was "the one!" Upon arriving they already replaced the airbag recall, replaced all four tires (Conti Extreme Sports), replaced rear brakes, replaced battery and some other odds and ends. Some reason they painted the brake calipers black but I actually like them!

During negotiations I would not have believed it had I not literally witnessed three other potential buyers behind me wanting this vehicle PLUS two employees just waiting to see if my deal would fall through. Thank God for that deposit!

I could not have asked for a friendlier bunch of guys working at this dealership. Quite a different story from some of my experiences in the DC area.

To boot, they even threw in this lovely gift bag with an assortment of expensive ///M goodies along with an ///M trunk mat! Car looks pretty hot sitting next to my V8 Vantage! I love my Vantage but don't get me wrong. I am in love with my M3!

Final thought - This one I will keep forever and if I have it my way I'll be buried in it! Pics can be seen by clicking the link below.

congrats, I'm actually in annandale and just picked up an 11 e90 zcp dct after an exhausting search as well. flew down to FL and drove 1000 miles back! Maybe ill see you around.. these cars are remarkably addicting..

Great find, congrats!! I'm glad I bought my e92 when I did, seems like it's going to get harder and harder to find a clean ZCP 6MT. Looks awesome next to the Aston! Enjoy in good health!

Nice find I have done the same thing. Left the e92 platform multiple times only to come crawling back. I found a perfect 6psd comp pack white with black leather 26k miles on her. I now have 32k miles on her since I bought back in 2016.
