M4 won't even barely spin tires

I had a 17 F80 previously, could not keep her from spinning with DSC turned off, it was really impressive.

My wife's F82 (2015) will barely spin the tires if at all.

Is this normal for the M4 or should it be more responsive like my M3 was?

Without tune, both stock m3 m4 doesn't really spin tire. But once you tune it

The m3 could run a smoke show no problem (no tune). Just curious if the m4 is tuned a bit different. Taking the wife's car to the track tonight and was a bit concerned something may be off on it.

I have a 2015 F80 and pretty much in any gear if i give it too much gas the back tires will start to give.

She must have some sticky rear tires

OP, if your M4 isn't able to spin the tires with DSC off, first thing I would obviously check if it has stickier aftermarket tires.

If it has the stock Conti or PSS tires, then I would say something subtle is broken (e.g. boost leak) and keeping you from making the full power

My '15 DCT F80 (stock engine) would spin 275 wide RE11 in 1st, 2nd and chirp the shift to 3rd, and I would expect that to be the case for your '15 F82 also

2015 didn't have the reduced torque in low gears too.

Sounds like something is not quite right with your wife's car. I wouldn't expect there to be any difference between an M3 and M4 in that regard, but for some real world data...if anything, I find it hard to NOT spin the tires on an aggressive launch with a 2015 M4 (no tune).

It won't barely spin the tires? So you're saying it actually spins the tires too much?

Something is definitely wrong with the 2015 M4. Here's mine a few years ago:

My wife’s F82 is pretty useless in first and part of second (6MT) at full throttle. It will break sideways when you gun it from 15-20 mph. Much less from a stop. No tune.

It did halfway decent at the track. Ran a 12.23 which I did not expect. Couldn't do a burnout to warm up the tires though to save its life, kind of embarrassing...

You have to hold DSC button for ~2sec for DSC to go fully off rather than MDM mode. Stating the obvious, but......

this is a joke right? I could roast my back tires till the cords showed in a short amount of time...I don't have the balls to do crazy launches, but believe reeving it to 3to4 k and dumping the clutch will give u what u desire for and more
