Clearance on MCCB - 20x9.5 +20
Wanted to ask the forum guys here. Looking at a set of wheels 20x9.5 +20 front, would that be good enough to clear the front large mccb caliper without spacers?
Thanks in advance!! |

BBS north america has the bbs wheels / f8x brake dimensions. They can tell you if it'll clear or need spacers, just email them.. they were helpful when I was trying to fit my bbs lmr on the f8x. But for the record 20x10et18 LMR wouldn't clear MCCB.

The offset of the wheel isn't the factor, it's the barrel itself
For the most part, any forged 20" wheel will clear There are only a handful of wheels that do not clear ccb in 20" and they are cast |

Seems to be a lot of uninformed opinions here.
Although offset and diameter is relevant, the key factor that determines whether wheels will clear the CCB’s is the shape of the barrel and the spoke profile. Simply stating that x width/offset/diameter fits without considering the profile of the wheel first is utterly wrong. |

Spec wise you should have no issues with clearance of the face of the wheel and the CCB. However, as others mentioned, barrel clearance can't be determined that way. Although, it is safe to say that the majority of 20" wheels have ample clearance. Best to get in touch with the vendor or manufacture of the wheel for further clarification.
