Cup 2 on 666M 20's?

I want to go Cup2's next. Can get the rears, not a size to suit fronts. Is this the reason for a 19 on GTS and CS?

I run 245/35/20 front and 295/30/20 rear.

The 245 width Cup 2 is actually wider than the 265 Super Sport, and runs great.

I ran them for this track season, on my second set.

Hey Player there are other threads on this. A few of us are running Porsche spec N1 or N0 245 on the front with success. These have a wider treadwidth than OEM 265 PSS.

I have pics if you want, and have used them at club sprints.

Thanks. I have no issue with messing with turbos, DP, run e85, meth - but if I mess with width and diameter of tyres OH NOOO! I think I'll stay with the 4S and get a set of track wheels - 513M would be nice

Yes, a second set is probably ideal but the PSC2 are still great on the street, except when it's really cold.

I have had no issues whatsoever. And I personally wouldn't change turbos, DPs or do the meth e85 thing!

As requested. About 24 vs 26cm tread width.

Keep in mind one has greatly larger grooves and thus less rubber to road

I would say the land:sea ratio for these is greater than PS4S etc.

Car manufacturers can get tires in whatever size they want. The 265/35R19 star spec PSC2 were specifically designed for the GTS and the CS to BMW specifications. BMW went with 19” because they figured it was the best size for the application, not because there were no PSC2 available in 20”.
