Track Wheel/Tire Clearance to MP HAS-Too Close?

Getting my track tires on for BMW HPDE for this coming weekend. I have a couple of mm between the HAS bottom spring perch and the tire. I opted to use a 5mm spacer last time. Should I continue to run a spacer on the front or not?

This has gotta be just too close.. tired flex a lot more than you think under load. I wouldn’t risk it considering these are your tires that will be driven extremely hard!

Yeah, it was too close for my comfort so I ran the 5mm spacers.

Coincidentally, someone had a catastrophic right front tire failure this past weekend. Not a pretty sight.
