Trouble selling my F80 6MT

Just curious what is going on here. I have been trying to get rid of an F80 ZCP manual for months and I listed it as one of the lower priced 2017 M3s on Car Gurus - I am middle of first page out of 6 pages when sorted low to high price.

Is no one purchasing these F80s, waiting on new? Is everyone running to Alfa/C63S/RS5s and etc? Or is the market that saturated now with M cars they have killed demand on secondary market?

Not trying to advertise my car here, but trying to understand why demand for this car is so pathetic on the used market . . . although I would love to get rid of mine as I never really drive it anymore and have been trying to dump it for 10 months . . .

Does it really come down to market dilution? Did BMW dilute the M's value by building just too dang many?

I would imagine it's because it's a manual. For every 10 people looking for an F80 on the market maybe 1 is looking for a manual, I would imagine. Have known a couple people over the past two years that have gotten rid of their DCT F80s within a week of posting it. But granted, that's anecdotal evidence.

Also, what color do you have? Some colors are more unpopular on the used market than others.

In addition, have you tried auto trader or the forum? I have had significantly more luck on auto trader in the past than cargurus.

Why not? There is a for sale section, and vehicles change hands between Bimmerpost members all the time.

What does KBB or Edmunds say? They have the data you need.

IMHO, you are making this too difficult. There is no anomaly here, and there is no need to wax on and theorize about what forces may be playing a role in transactions prices.

The market is the market. And vehicles genuinely are selling on said market - no joke. Price your car at fair market value, advertise it on popular vehicle sales websites, and it will sell.
