Black 666M Wheels - ?Question?

I've searched around and read enough threads trying to find this answer without success, so I'll just ask.

Is the face of the Black 666M, the same brushed aluminum as the non-black 666M? It appears as if the black bits/portions are the insides of each spoke and the interior of the rim? That's enough black that even with the brushed faces, the wheel looks a lot darker.

Is this correct? Thanks.

The face is brushed aluminum like the silver 666s but tinted. The barrel and inner spokes are gloss black.

Gotcha. So the tint is what's I'd be missing if I were to powder coat the barrel and inner spokes...I wonder how "dark" it would look if I did that...hmmm.
