October Surrey / Hampshire meet

So after a couple of comments in my ‘new owner’ thread, it would seem that there’s a bit of interest in a local meet?!!

I’m also mindful that the days are getting shorter and the luck of a sunny day is probably beginning to reduce.

So with that in mind, I’m wondering if one October sunday would work for everyone? I know a couple of pubs local to me that have large caprparks and the roads around here are pretty amazing too - however, also open to suggestions!

My suggestions are:

The Deers Hut, Liphook https://thedeershutpub.co.uk
The Links https://www.links-liphook.co.uk

Suggested dates;

- October 14th
- October 21st
- October 28th

I’ve left the 7th out because a) it’s probably too soon and b) it’s jap (

) Sunday at Goodwood breakfast club...

Depending on interest, I’ll check out a local venue and confirm times etc

Even if it’s just a few of us, it will be nice to meet up and talk cars over a drink/lunch! You’ll be able to talk me through my new car

Thanks for all the interest. We’ve opened this up to anything //M and expect numbers to be around 20 of us.

I’ve spoken to the Deers Hut and have their blessing for the //Meet on the 28th of October.

We can arrive from 11.30am onwards with a table booked from 12pm.

I’ve providionally said there will be about 20 of us and they are happy to take food orders in advance for those that wish to dine (they do amazing Sunday roasts!!)

I’ll post details of the menu a couple of weeks in in advance and will collect your orders at that point. Please don’t feel like you have to eat though...

Should be a good afternoon with some good company!!!

Edit - if anyone’s trying to find me on FB, my normal name is Phil Kett, I’m in the F3x and F8x FB groups. Forum names really don’t help much when organising meets
