Continentals can't be patched??!!
Found a slow leak in my right rear tire (nail) that is in the middle of the tire so no issues with it being too close to the edge. My dealership checked it out and said that these contis (not RFT) cannot be patched so will require a new tire. Anyone heard of this, sounds crazy?? I did do a bit of research after the fact and read that these tires have a foam strip on the inside to make them more quiet, which is why they can't be repaired. Doesn't seem like a good enough reason to me, interested to hear thoughts please.

Should be able to patch. Dealer wants to sell you a tire. Didn't find any foam inside my tires when we removed them.

Just find good tire shop, they will patch it, as long as you didn’t drive on tire without air

I had a flat on the MPSS and dealer didn't want to fix it. They said they don't fix tires, they just replace them. I went to a tire shop and they patched it in < 30 min.

Biggest load of BS from the dealership. I've patched my Contis. No issues whatsoever.
