Max Meaty tyre set up for stock 437ms

Hello everyone, I am making this thread to keep record of my new tyre set up for those of us that want to see a super meaty tyres on stock 437m wheels. I currently ordered Michelin Pilot Sport 4s: 305/30/19s for the rear and 275/30/19s for the front. I will be updating this thread as I get them and mount them.

Those sizes are far too big for a 9"/10" wheel setup imo

Personally I don't mind that meaty bulge that takes place when you do such a thing to a 9/10" wheel. Maybe some HD photos of the setup once its on will sway your opinion.

Im sure they will look meaty no doubt. But my opinion stems from the actual fitment, not the visual appeal. While not the ideal size, the 275/30/19 can still fit on a 9" wheel. The 305/30/19 however has a rim width range of 10.5-11.5", thus it is too big for a 10" wheel.

Hello all, sorry for not updating this post any sooner but being that I've had them mounted for a little less than a month now, I can finally say that they ride with no problems.

Here are some photos of how it looks (I'm on stock suspension):

I really wish I could correct that gap but my driveway barely allows my lip to stay on. And to add to that, speed bumps are also a factor into getting to my house.

Nice car. 437’s are such a great wheel too, especially for OEM. Just my observation, more so for the rear, the wheel looks sunken in from the tire. Having squared off or slightly stretched tires look more appropriate in my opinion, but if u like it and it runs well that’s what matters. On a technical standpoint, I don’t think you’re benefiting 100% from the 305’s width putting that on a 10” rear.

It looks that way because the tires are too big for the wheels. I would not run a 305 on a 10" wheel.

Really? Because I've went well over that speed (legally) and I've had no problems.

I know this might sound weird, but is your M a manual or a DCT? I've heard that with the DCT the computer tries to account for a bigger tyre size, and that with the manual it obviously doesn't.

Just get a new set of wheels when it’s convenient for you 9.5 or 10 inch fronts and 11 inch rears. Then there’s no more questions or guess work. It will look proper and you’ll maximize the footprint. Save the 437’s for winter or sell them to fund the new ones.

I appreciate the concern, but I currently love my setup and am having no problems as of yet. Today I took out the M because there's no more snow out and once again had no problems.
