Got a GTS

Well I dipped my feet into the pool. Could not resist seeing the prices where they are. Just picked up a beautiful GTS, like new, for just under $90k. 245 miles on it. Still had factory plastic on the carpet. I am so excited!! David, if you are reading this THANK YOU!!

Just a side note, the 2018 x5d proved to be a very solid hauler.

Now, on to another topic, I need to sell or swap a lease for a 2016 M4 ZCP, very clean with 15k miles. Will be putting that in the sale section soon.

Happy to be part of the GTS family. No, I don't plan on racing now, maybe some day. Don't hold it against me please. Just really appreciate the car.

Nice, congrats. Deliberated on yours for a few days before opting for another one. Clearly was one of the better "used" examples available. Also, yours is at least +$5,000 value since DeMuro drove it.

Real shame that he jacked that curb @ 7:51 in though... Not one of his finer moments. Assume they cleaned up the damage?

I kid, I kid... Enjoy

Thank you for the welcoming posts. I have been giving all the neighbors and friends rides today. What a blast, and surprising different feel than the ZCP.

I inquired into some of the "new" ones, but I understand from a BMW rep that all have been "punched" so not technically new anymore. Warranty is already started and BMW doesn't recognize any new inventory. Though maybe not titled though, or titled to the dealer principle?? Don't know if anyone can confirm but that steered me to a like new for much less than the remaining "new" ones.

Also, i flew down to Dallas and looked at a mat grey one that was pretty clean with about 1600 miles. I think i could have gotten that one for little less even though we didn't negotiate to a final number (listed for $96k). I can give anyone interested the salespersons name or my impression in person. I felt the one i got was little cleaner (front spoiler scratched on the grey one) but still very nice. It was also further away so it would have more hassle and cost to ship to MD would have equalized. Let me know if you want info.

I'm in NOVA, not far from MD. There is quite a lot to learn about this car; I'm more than happy to tell you all about it!

I think I've met only two other M4 GTS owners in the DMV area and two more in Richmond.

I've been looking at some of the remaining new GTS available. One of the reasons at looking at the new cars is the expectation that the warranty would not start until it was purchased. I would be interested in hearing who told you that the warranty period had already started?

It's either a GTS or a M2 Comp as my future nice weather daily driver.

Thanks!
