Anyone put Cup 2 on Competition 20" wheels with HAS?

Wondering if anyone has put the Michelin Cup 2 tires on the 20" 'Competition' wheels, and has dropped the car with the MP HAS system (~1" front ~.5 rear,
I. E., recommend max drop from the factory)? I have a 2017 M4... Any problems with rubbing?

Thanks! I contributed to that post but couldn't find feedback on the MP HAS plus the C2's in terms of rubbing. Went through it yesterday but again couldn't clearly find out whether the 245 35 20's rubbed with the MP HAS..... ?

This all depends on what wheels you are running..
i think i have posted a pic of my wheels on that thread but again I am running a 9.5J with a 25mm offset.
worked fine and didn't rub on perch of HAS.
if you plan to run stock wheels i dont see it being a problem either to be honest.

A quick calculation reckons they will fit and even with more clearance than my wheels

On-line wheel calculators are omitting very important factors when they figure clearances: they do not factor tread width and they do not factor the effect of the wheel width on the tire's section width. They provide a rough view but they are far from being comprehensive.

While the total section width for a given tire does vary a greatly depending on the width of the wheel it is installed on (~0.2" of tire section width for every 0.5" of wheel width), tread width remains pretty much constant regardless of the wheel width.

For instance, if a tire's tread is rubbing on the strut of a HAS system (as has been reported), changing wheel width will not improve the situation. The only way to resolve the interference is either to install a tire with a narrower tread width or to change the wheel offset.

BTW, the wheels are the 666
The C2's are .9" Narrower Section width but .7" wider tread width than the stock PSS, hence my concern about rubbing...

100% Agree with you but we talking about the exact same tyre a 245/35 20" PSC2
the offset wheel calculator was just an example.
I had about 5mm Clearance and the original poster will have even more due to using the 666.
