Steptronic manual mode
Hello All,
So I am not happy with DS mode sometimes in my auto 09 128i. However, the manual mode is so much more reliable in terms of not having any throttle lag. What is the best way to use manual mode? Should M1 mode be used at all for regular driving since bmw usually sets M2 to the lowest automatically while in full stop usually? Let me know how you all shift in manual mode. I would greatly appreciate it. |

Get the xHP flash for your auto trans. It makes a huge difference.
No problem using M1 in regular driving, it's just not generally necessary since it's such a short gear and our cars have plenty of torque to just drive off in 2nd. |

Right. I was just thinking of the flash. As far as I know there isn't any sort of flash or tune for the GM.
