Hoosier R7 - 20" ZCP 666m

Noticed Tire Rack now sells Hoosier R7 tires that match the stock fitment for the 20" ZCP wheels. Have any of you tried this setup on the track? I imagine it is much cheaper in the long run to buy a second set of rims/tires, but I like the look of the 20" wheels.

R7 Experience

I'm new to the forum but recently switched from PSC2 to R7 on my Porsche 991.2 S. I record my laps with a Solo II. Quantitatively and in summary, the R7 is consistently 2 seconds/lap faster than the PSC2 at MSR Houston.

Qualitatively, significantly more front end grip and steering feel comes through but diminishing as weight transfers to the fronts.

I can send you data and video if you like.

Glad to join!
