Continental Sport Contact tire in the cold

Heading to Big Bear, Ca this weekend and it's actually not that cold. Highs in mid 50's and lows in Mid 20's. Considering taking the M3 but am interested in others experiences in such weather. I'm sure I'll be driving at some point in the 30's. Thanks.

If you are talking about the OEM continental they will handle the temps fine (assuming no snow/precip). BUT you must be very easy on the throttle. Traction goes away very quickly (snaps, not progressive). Leave TC on.
