Adjusting headrest

Anyone know how to adjust the headrest on the F06 M6?

Just before the round botton you press the most upper or lower push button to adjust the head restraints. This works only if the seat is not in the most upper position.

Which seats do you have (this is important to know since there are different kinds)?

If you have an owners manual...there will be an illustration for the type of seats you have on how to operate them. If you don't have an owners manual...just do a google search...there are PDF versions of owners manuals that you can download to your device/CPU/tablet/etc.

If your seat control module looks like the pic below...then you may not have electric headrest...if you do, then when you push upward/downward on button #5...then the headrest should move up/down accordingly to how you move the switch button:

1 Seat adjustment switch block, driver's side (illustrated: left hand drive vehicle)
2 Position button 2 (retrieve seat position)
3 Position button 1 (retrieve seat position)
4 Memory button (store seat position) with function indicator light
5 Switch for backrest angle adjustment
6 Switch for seat back width adjustment
7 six‐pin plug connection
8 Lumbar support switch
9 Switch for forward/back, height and seat angle adjustment
If your seat control module looks like the pic below...then you push button #10 upward/downward and the headrest will move accordingly to the direction you move the switch button:

1 Seat adjustment switch block, driver's side (illustrated: left hand drive vehicle) 2 Button for active seat with function indicator light
3 Position button 2 (retrieve seat position)
4 Position button 1 (retrieve seat position)
5 Memory button (store seat position) with function indicator light
6 Button for backrest upper section adjustment
7 Switch for seat back width adjustment
8 six‐pin plug connection
9 Lumbar support switch
10 Button for backrest angle and headrest height adjustment
11 Switch for forward/back, height and seat angle adjustment
12 Button for seat depth adjustment

Yeah...remember that outside North America...there's usually more options. The f06 has 3 types of seats:
  1. Basic
  2. Sport
  3. Comfort
...and as shown in my previous post...the one seat switch shows that button #5 is only for backrest movement.

And if you've ever seen some of the Euro front seats...they have headrests that look similar to the rear headrests in the 6GC. In fact, I like the look of those seats...but they don't have as many features (like upper articulating back).
