Weird click on takeoff and weight transfer

So as the title suggests I am racking my brain trying to figure out what is causing this noise. The noise sounds like a bolt snapping into place. It happens when I start from a stop or after accelerating when the car was just engine braking. The sound can also be replicated by reversing then moving forward. I first noticed it in parking lots where the car three wheels a bit in ruts (whatever the transition from asphalt to concrete is called). Anyways the sound seems to be coming from under the drivers seat which is securely bolted in place. The car is a 2015 6spd m4 with 14k miles. If anyone has any ideas let me know. Seems quite similar to this https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=175885 on the e9x platform.
Thanks,
Karthik

I had a similar issue with my Audi S6 - They ended up replacing the whole seat frame under warranty to fix it.

Could it be the driveshaft rubbing on the brake tube? (Search the TSB for this) Mine sounded like a click as well before Dealer fixes under warranty.

Thx I'll look into the tsb. I don't think its the seat as I tried moving the seat around while I was driving and moving the seat didn't alter the sound at all. Heres a video for the sound

not sure how to describe the sound it has progressed into multiple clicks. Anyone got any other ideas?

I had something similar and it wound up being the brace that runs across the midpipe. It needed to be torqued down a bit. Because it wasn’t, on accel the car naturally flexes and the brace would creak.

Very likely, especially if you have an aftermarket midpipe ...

If anyone else has this problem it is the brace by the midpipe. 3 of the 4 bolts were finger loose I added some thread-lock and screwed them back in. My car is stock I have no clue why they came lose. Thanks for the help guys.
