Has anyone succesully repaired curb rash on a 666 Black Style Wheel?

I scratched my rear one and would like to get it fixed at a wheel shop, but word on the street is that the wheel color is hard to match? Any input would be appreciated.

I went to Mckenna BMW here in Socal and asked them to fix it.
They did a decent job for $250, however I don't have a before and after picture.

I just had mine repaired at the dealer (they send it out). It came back perfectly however it was only minor curb rash to the lip.

Did you scratch the silver part or the black part? I think that the "silver" is just bare aluminum with clear coat which makes repair a litter easier than a painted surface. I could be wrong about this, but regardless I think it is a pretty straight ahead repair for any reputable shop.

(I too forgot to photo document.)

I am looking to get mine repaired, curb rashed about 2 or 3 of them. But this is a different matter in Germany than the US.

the silver part is not bare aluminum it's slightly tinted. The reason why 666M is hard to repair is that it's hard to match the color of silver part.

Guys, thank you for all the replies.

I am attaching a picture of my rear tire. Judging by some of the posters, it seems like it can be done, (I can't tell the difference on Fender's 150 pictures). Luckily the damage is to the outer part of the rim. I was thinking of having them just refinish the outer ring. I assume that is all they would need to do, or would they have to refinish the whole wheel? Never done this before, so I don't know what the process entails.

Mine was similar to yours in terms of length and depth.
They will sand off the curb rash, use filler if needed, then polish and paint, just for that part.

I curbed one of my 666M in silver and 2 separate shops tried to repair it 3 times. They weren't able to get it look like brand new so I eventually just bought a new one.
