MSR Cresson 3.1 with Edge Addicts

Lots of firsts this event... First time back on the track in over 8 years, first time on the track in the F80, and first time at MSR Cresson.

The car is 100% stock, down the stock alignment and tires too. I drove it mainly in MDM mode and managed to get 2:43:12 as my personal best that day with plenty more to learn and shave off with more practice.

While it was nice to see what the F80 can do on the track, I think I'll be looking for an E46 M3 to be my track focused car instead!

Good video!! I'll hopefully get mine uploaded in the next few days. The 3.1 is a blast!

Where did you mount the microphone?

Surprisingly no microphone! This is all straight through my BlackVue dashcam mounted to my rear view mirror!

I was surprised by the audio quality compared to a GoPro setup.

had to share my one mistake of the day! going off at 75 mph can be a bit dicey, but thank goodness for ample run off space.

good news is that the law moving services were provided at no extra charge to the track grounds crew!

Cresson on a clear day is amazing - super fun track! On a wet day or week with a bunch of rain, it's like driving on a bed of slimy water...

My first (and "only" after 20+ events including COTA) spin was @ Cresson after driving thru a wet spot on track with some slime shiz making it super slick for ~100 yards - even instructors were spinning like a top!
