RGSport - X5 Review

Hey,

I had the pleasure of working with RG Sport yesterday on my new X5. I had ordered side fender vents and they arrived in a day, and then read a lot of his posts, etc. before deciding on him.

I had emailed him about doing my car in 3 phases. Since they had a very limited selection of new 18s when I bought mine last month, I knew I was going to have to do some research and mods to get it the way I want it.

For Phase 1 - we did lowering springs, Racechip, and a lot of coding.

Phase 2 might be the full MSport body kit, and a comfort front seat and possibly BAV sound upgrade.

Phase 3 will be new brakes and calipers (once these wear out).

Ben was fantastic. His shop is great, his knowledge excellent, and his execution of install impeccable. He allowed me to chat with him on and off during the process, and was open with sharing his knowledge and educating me on this particular platform.

I have never, ever - in my many cars, seen springs installed so quickly! The tune was str8 forward and the coding was excellent.

My car is a slightly different beast today, and I already see, hear and feel the difference.

He also took the time to make a correction on the install of my running boards. And without me asking. His attention to detail is amazing.

Thank you, Ben.

As you know, we have lots more work to do.

I recommend them to anyone who wants to do small, medium or large projects.

Stephen

Ben is VERY knowledgeable and very helpful...I drove two hours to his shop twice to have stuff done to my F15 by him. I'll probably be going back for the downpipe soon...this is getting expensive...it was supposed to be for my wife...she's now driving the i3 instead of the X5 and my Jeep is sitting in the garage.
