What's a super low-mile, one-owner, quasi-stripper spec F80 worth?
Hey all - after selling my e90 M3, I've been on the hunt for an F10 M5; my budget has me at around $35-38 or so. I have two really good leads at the moment but I'm still considering other options. On a whim, I decided to test drive a 2015 YMB M3 from a local private seller. It has a CF roof, 6spd manual w/ carbon structure seats (cloth/leather) and all the cameras and driver assists and HK stereo. It also has the 18" wheels (forgot the "style" #). I remember driving an F80 a while back and felt very unimpressed, but that was a DCT and I think that car had been beaten on. This YMB M3 I'm looking at is a 1-owner car w/ 14k miles on it and it felt great. Obviously smaller, more sporty and nimble than the F10 M5's I've been test driving recently.
Anyway, the seller is asking a bit more than my budget, but I want to get some thoughts on what you guys thing would be a good deal for the car. I tend not to keep cars for too long, so I don't want to lose my shirt when it's time to resell it. Who knows though, I may keep this car for a long time. So where do you guys think the market is for a super low-mile, 1-owner YMB quasi-stripper spec F80? Interested to hear your thoughts thanks!

you can find some stripper M3s in the low 40s. But its not going to be a 1 owner low miles car in pristine condition.
F10's are nice. But the m3 gives you the wider fenders and CF roof, distinguishing it from the other 3 series cars.
