Thumbs up Interior Trim replacement options

I can't seem to find a solid post that show the alluminum trim replacement
What are the options aftermarket and oem. Where is the best place to find oem trim parts
And their part numbers. I have the hexagon aluminum Trim and want to replace all the pieces.

I replaced my brushed aluminum trim with the OEM BMW M Performance Carbon Fiber
Interior Trim Kit (PN: 51952333984). The mod is covered in my mod thread.

You can swap with any of the available options for the F15/85.

As far as aftermarket, I am not sure on what is available, I try to stay with OEM.

Yes, I did it all myself.

The price of the CF kit has dropped about $300, time to jump on it.

Click on the link in my signature, it has some interior photos of the mod. It transforms the entire cabin.

Now does this replace the trim on the doors and the one next to the knees
Says it's 5 pieces sounds like it's missing something.

What would we do for the knee sections. They are the most scratched up?
I see there a leather replacement but prefer the trim to all match.

OEM options would be the piano black (seen that somewhere), brushed aluminum, and other wood options or the knee-pad swap. If those don’t do it for you, you can have them wrapped with something, or custom like Dubesd did with his. He had custom CF knee trim made for his F15. Search “classy”, his thread should show up since that word was abused in his thread.

I love the knee pads though, they pair so well with the rest of the interior.

Thanks for the response. I was review the pics on your Mod post. Are the CF knob and CF trim below the shift know included in the set you originally posted?
These : https://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/at...1&d=1520637386

How about the rear door trims?

Sadly, those are all separate pieces and a bit pricey. If you’re ok with non-OEM, r33_RGSport sells them for a cheaper price than OEM.
All of the doors and two dash pieces are included in the OEM M Performance kit.

I'm not a fan of CF and I've had no luck finding the aluminum trim either.

Thought there might be a different one without the M designation.

Does anyone know if the rest of the trims bar the dash are the same for LHD and RHD cars? I assume the doors are, but what about the 2 on the centre console?

I spent 80 bucks on a roll of textured carbon fiber vinyl wrap, then 20 bucks for a vinyl DIY tool kit. Result is amazing! Got all wood grain pieces wrapped, including all 4 doors. The whole thing looks very modern and techy, away from the old conservative look.

Dash pieces are not the same LHD vs. RHD. I assume the doors are too, but not certain.

Lol I’m imagining it’s not that good looking and you have seems all over the place. Not pics to show otherwise haha.

I'm not agreeing with the CF vinyl, but this is another option. The textured alum trim won't be good for adhesion, but the smooth wood trim would be a good base for wrapping in a high quality 3M 1080/2080 vinyl. I'd recommend the brushed vinyl line.
I haven't done the F15 (not sure if I will), but my E92 has the trim wrapped in Brushed Black. Grab some 3M primer 94 pens for better adhesion around the corners.
