My splitter installation
So, I originally picked up a splitter off AliExpress and initially thought it was going to be great. Turned out the fitment was horrendous and the seller kept saying it was 100% fitment. I threw it in the trash last week cause I was tired of looking at the waste of money.
Still wanting a front splitter, I checked eBay and was able to buy one including brackets for a fraction of the cost of OEM. (Actually have two sets of the brackets now) This splitter fits almost perfectly! It wraps around the sides perfectly and fits the brackets well. I would say 98% fitment. I decided to attempt the install yesterday and it was pretty straightforward. Two sets of hands and this would have taken two hours tops. Including making my own "Z" style bracket to hold the center. Sorry for the long write up, here's some pictures. I'm going to wrap it

Nice work. I would only say throw on a small bead of black caulk to hide the beta link you can see through the gaps. Plus it'll help keep water out of there!

Yeah that's my plan, think I will wrap it first (or attempt lol)and then apply tape either side of gap and lay a bead down.

Thanks!
I'm very happy with it. Like I said before, fit is really good. For anyone thinking of going with this style splitter, I would recommend making some brackets for the center. Just for added strength.

I just made this out of curtain rod brackets I had left over. I could make them a bit prettier but you can barely see them. I couldn't find any of the "Z" brackets that are used on oem splitters

I ended up wrapping the outer part and leaving the middle for now.
