Longest you have driven on your x5 WITHOUT a pitstop

Just curious if any of you have broken any long distance driving records (not the car hopefully )

Recently we drove NYC->DC non stop, took about ~4.5 hrs. Did not feel any fatigue at all which I otherwise would have with our previous pilot for the same trip.

6 hours non-stop. Petaluma, ca to canyonville, or. 424 miles. Was on fumes at end, Stop was just an off and on for gas, then another 2 hours, 138 miles after that.

Wasn't in love with the car when i bought it. More just needed the daily suv to replace dead ford explorer. Told my wife (she was not on drive) that was the trip where i came to love the X5. No fatigue, seats were amazing. Cruised on the highway like i was on a pillow. Nothing fazed it. I could've gone another 5 hours.

I believe US Spec gas tank only can last you 380-400 miles.

I would've be able to do 8 hours straight (just restroom stop and gas) since I am able to do it in my Honda Odyssey and Porsche Cayenne.
F15 X5 is more comfortable than Odyssey.

The furthest I took my F15 was from LA to Arizona.
Which is about 7 hours away.

And it didn't have comfort seat. I bet with comfort seat it will be much2 better.

Calais to Günzburg. 7hrs 58m, 860km. (535miles). One tank of fuel, no "nature" stops.

Not in an X5. F16 X6 M50d. Wonderful.

Pics show max range and "claw back" in Eco Pro.

The longest I drive I could achieve without stopping was Las Vegas (NV) to San Jose (CA) distance of around 530 miles. I drove straight from breakfast to dinner without stopping. Took be around eight hours. It was a lot of downhill, probably couldn't have done it the reverse direction.

For me, the longest drive stopping only for gas was Boston (MA) to Chicago (IL), almost a 1000 miles.

The longest distance of me driving pegged at the speed limit of 127 mph for me was Long Island (NY) to Cambridge (Boston, MA), distance of around 200 miles, entire trip took me only two hours including all the traffic lights.

For me when driving I don't consume a ton of liquids to avoid having to stop for bathroom break, because if I'm risking getting a speeding ticket going 80-90 mph trying to get somewhere, the last thing I want to avoid is wasting all the time I made up taking a piss.

Probably two - maybe three hours max. The inevitable “bathroom break” usually interrupts the pace.

Lol. I have to stop much more frequently than the 35d! That thing will go 8-9 hours at highway speed without stopping for fuel. My E90 M3 was the opposite. I used to joke that it was the only car I ever owned that had to stop more often than I did. I was looking for a gas station every 4 hours.

midlifecrisis Sounds about right! The only thing you can’t pass when driving an M3 is a gas station!

Yes!
With age the importance of the capacity of various fluid holding vessels evolves.

Just under 450 miles to Charleston back in the fall about a week after I got the X5. Got there on one tank.. barely. Was around 6 hours. Extremely comfortable ride. It was that trip I had to put the speed warning on as when I felt I was going 70 it was actually 95MPH.

Just drove from VA mountains to beach on Sunday. 230 miles in less than 3 hours. I. was. flying.

in theory my car will do 892 miles on a full tank at 60mph, so I can do almost 15 hours non stop

550 miles is all i about lasted without a pitstop, in my 1800 mile trip from OK > UT > CO > KS > MO back to OK, averaged 30 mpg the whole trip with 66 mph average speed, wasn't grannying it and had quite a few vmax runs in "mExIcO" My bladder would burst before i need a refuel, the most i got out of one tank is 682 miles.
