It's $110 for remote coding and only $60 extra for the DCT tune...best thing i ever did.

no performance difference at all...I like the one tap right to get to "D" but orher than that nothing. Car actually feels a bit sluggish sometimes at 4 bars, dont know maybe I had higher expectations. What do you guys feel the most difference in?

Drive at 5 bars, and full send in S mode

So the DCT tune is suppose to make the shifts smoother? The (EU) OEM is pretty aggressive already at fair throttle in S4, to get angry in S5/S6. Kinda like it as is, easy enough to calm shifts down by lifting the pedal should it be needed.

I think what people meant by smooth shifts is it makes it more enjoyable if you drive normally. The GTS Tune from Alpine was the BEST decision I ever made for this car.

The OEM software was terrible, my biggest peeve was coming to a stop. The downshifts in automatic mode was not smooth and lackluster. My head kept bobbing, I felt like I was breaking the transmission by coming to a stop every single time.

The GTS tune made everyday driving more bearable, don't get me wrong. Sometimes ever so rarely you still get the bobbing downshifts, but so much better. Upshifts are great, the more aggressive you go the more aggressive the shifts get.

Worth every penny!

Luckily my OEM EU sw never had any of those issues, most of that seem for some strange reasons to have been with the US sw version. And for what its worth D2 is default over here. Anyways, great its possible to resolve!

Edit: here was some great input, better continue on that thread: https://www.m3post.com/forums/showth...8#post25141138
