Spark plug Gap

I'm switching my plugs today since I'm close to 50k miles. I'm putting in NGK iridium with a .6mm gap as specified by many on this board. I'm fully stock atm and I'm wondering if I end up doing a stage 1 piggyback or flash tune in the near future will I have to adjust the gap on my plugs or will the .6mm gap be sufficient. Thanks for any help

Yes .6 mm would be fine , that’s same as .023 inch or 23 thousandths . If you go to Burger Motorsport site they actually recommend running .020 for all bmw turbo engines. I think if your going to possibly tune / run more power the .020 would be good, with no harm even stock.
