We were just down that way from the Albany NY area. Hoodoo Brown's BBQ nearby brings us to Ridgefield for no other reason. If we weren't just there, I'd come down then literally pig out for lunch

Hoodoos is great dont get me wrong... but I think wire mill in Redding is almost just as good, and with some menu items, better. Bear's BBQ in Windsor/Hartford might be better than both of them though.

Will have to put them in the rotation. BBQ up here is, not great. We have Dinosaur BBQ, but to me it's just okay. The best BBQ I've ever had is Hard 8 BBQ in Coppell TX (DFW area)...the Hoodoo guy learned in Texas according to the menu.

Anyway, would love to coordinate a cruise with a lunch outing for some BBQ

I would agree with you on that... Dinosaur BBQ is probably some of the weakest I've ever had.

Another good one is Big W's Roadside BBQ in Wingdale NY... its way up there but I usually go there if I'm ever up in the area.

I'm down for some M-BBQ. Let me know.
