Extra head room with carbon fiber roof ?

Has anyone directly compared the head room in a coupe with a carbon fiber roof to that of a tin top with the moon roof? I am quite tall and sit with the seat back pretty vertical .... and my head touches the roof in a moon roof coupe. Bad story - I couldn't live with it. But I've not found locally a coupe with the carbon fiber to compare.
I really want a coupe, but if the head room is not there then I'll got for the sedan (it has enough head room, but it is a sedan .....).
Any advice welcome!

OK, I enjoyed all the comments .... laughed a lot.
But I am serious .... I'm 6'3" tall, I position the seat right down, but with the back reasonably upright. And my head touches the roof with a moon roof.
Does the carbon roof have any more room??? Logic says yes, but I'd love to know if anyone has compared directly.

My coupe has a carbon fiber top. You are more than welcome to come and try it out.

I have a coupe with the carbon fiber roof. The roof is indented about 1 1/2 inches. Sorry, I'm 6 inches shorter than you (height only), so don't know if this will help you.

Yes, definitely more headroom. I'm 6'3" too, and tried e92's with & without. My head touches the roof with sunroof, and I have plenty of clearance without.

Would never get a sunroof for this reason, and am very happy with my CF roof..

I am 6.3 and I have the CF roof. I have plenty of room. I am not sure what it would be like with the sunroof. Sunroofs are for posers.....JK.....

I am a little over 6'4" tall and have the same problem as you. My head brushes the left rail for the sun roof in a 335 coupe. I have sat in 2 M3s with CF roofs and there is much more room, at least 1" more. I do not touch in a CF roof.

Naturally. go inside any car with no moonroof, and you have plenty of room due to the fact the extra space needed to house the glass moonroof is not there.

6' 2" here and I fit even with my helmet on. In my E46 with a sunroof I had to slide open the carpeted piece so my helmet would fit. I'm about 100% positive the ceiling is taller in a car without a sunroof.
