Dinan Stage 1 for 640?

Has anyone bought the Dinan Stage 1 tuning kit for their 640? It’s a couple grand, but reputedly the best. Anyone have experience with this?

I put one on my previous car, a 2013 535 with the n55 motor. I thought it made a difference. Not huge, but noticeable.

Did you see what hp and torque was supposedly to be increased by?

The hp gain is minimal - 40, but the torque is supposedly up 100 pounds (!) starting at 2500 rpm. Turns out the price is only $1499.00 plus a couple of hundred to install. But! I spoke with several BMW dealers and they all recommended against it and all have stopped selling and/or installing it. They advised me that installing the ‘Dinantronics’ stage 1 kit would void - or at least severely compromise - my warranty, which I am not willing to do. But you know what? The car is plenty fast. And like my old car buddy used to say: “Factory is the hot set up.”
