Just built an 840iX

Just built an 840iX GC on the BMW website. With everything I wanted it came out to about 100k. I can’t wait for one that is about 2.5 years old to become available for 50k or less.

an m850i in a few years would be the ultimate dream for me. I'm looking to pick up a 2016 650i GC soon and enjoy it for 3-4 years or less depending on when I could upgrade to the newer gen m850i for around 50-60k.

So true... the funny thing is I have the same train of thought. I'm waiting for used/CPO and get the 50% discount.:

Didn't know there is an i6 8 series!
8 GC doesn't race my heart like a 6 GC though. 8 GC looks like a hatch and yet it isn't.
My next car will probably be Panamera or A7... with a heavy used discount

It's a pass for me. I was hoping the 8 or 8GC would be my next BMW as I've now had the 650xi GC for 2.5 years, but it's just not doing it for me. I like the interior, but I can't bring myself to like the exterior. I agree with the comment that it looks like a hatch, and that's not a flattering look in my book... same reason I'm not keen on the A7 (which actually IS a hatch).

The 8 looks more bloated and busy in design when compared with the 6. I sure hope the next 7, or maybe even the i8 replacement, does something for me... right now I can't put my finger on a BMW product that's upping the game design-wise over the 6GC.

I saw once an 840 D as a while and was surprised how smooth it looks !!! Much more smoother that my current 640 D !!! Those small decreasing details have done a lot. You'd newer know if that's mine next vehicle ...... it depends how the life goes with current one.
