Opal White Interior
I am considering purchasing a 2015 650ix GC that has Opal White interior. Does anyone on this forum have any experience with Opal White? I am very apprehensive since it seems like it will be a ton of work to keep it looking good. Any feedback or advice would be much appreciated!

I use Dr Leather dye block on my interiors (all of which are oyster white). Stops dye transfer and general muck, and makes the seats a doddle to keep clean after application.

While opal is certainly more white than the ivory that is in a high percentage of these cars, including mine, it can't be that much different from ivory in terms of showing dirt. A lot depends on what kind of person you are. If you get in your car sweaty and dirty and spill your coffee a lot, then you will have more issues than if you are fastidious. The bigger issue I have read about opal is that because it is Merino leather and not Nappa, it tends to be more delicate such that the dye actually wears off easier, like on the driver's seat bolster. I cannot confirm that is true.
