Acquired a 2016 F85 X5M with low miles and it had a Dinantronics Performance Tuner Stg 1 on it. Non Dinan BMW Dealer wouldn't let it pass CPO inspection with it on there so I had it removed.

BMW/Dinan Dealer installed. Non Dinan BMW dealer uninstalled (obviously).

Will include shipping via USPS flat rate. Was on a pre-owned car so no packaging/manuals. I'll try to see if I can salvage the decal that goes on the airbox - but no guarantees.

Dinan BMW Dealer charges a ridiculous $2749 for this. Asking $950 with free shipping to wherever a USPS flat rate box will go.

If paypal I'll split the fee with you. Venmo/Zelle preferred.

I think he means that they won't let it pass CPO.

Most BMW dealers used to work with Dinan. In the last 3-4 years, most have cut ties.

At least they allowed you to take it off and CPO. Lucky they didn't blacklist you permanently!

I knew there was a good chance they wouldn't. I used to work there and I remember there was a E92 with the Dinan Catalog thrown at it and they wouldn't CPO that one. I just figured there was a slight chance they'd be more flexible for me. But I get it, liability, audit, blah blah.

I do not know. In theory motors are similar. But you may have to change software on the module.
