1. Pressure Switch for Leak Diagnosis Module (NVDL)
2. Engine Fuel Injectors
3. High Pressure Fuel Pump

Our F15 X5 have some intermittent hesitation when idling and even driving. I wonder if this is a fuel injector, fuel pump, or a spark plug issue?

Good luck getting them to do any of these. Maybe the dealer I went to are a bunch of cocksuckers (they are, caught them in a big lie). It's like they'll do anything to take blame for the injectors.

Welp, went WOT and got a DT malfunction. Car stumbles and almost stalls coming to a stop. Based on these codes I'm most likely looking at a HPFP. We'll see how this warranty coverage goes.

Where did you find this information? I wonder if there’s a similar post for the N55?

When I was getting my crankcase ventilation lines replaced, I asked the Service Rep to give me a print out of all "extended" warranties on my car. From other research I knew about the other three but wanted to see what he would come up with.

If I were you, I'd ask whatever dealer you use to provide the information for your car.

I've been trying to get Kelly BMW to honor this extended warranty on my crankcase ventilation hose that broke and they won't perform the service under extended warranty since my VIN does not show the available warranties even after I showed them the documents and my car is within that production date.

Call the toll free BMW Customer Service number. Try this method of having BMW NA contact them to verify to the dealership that you fall within the warranty period.

BTW...if you don't know the toll free number or see it in your owners manual binder....you can google it...type something simple like "BMW customer service toll free number".

The warranty was extended to 10 years so that's good for you till 2023.

Called BMW NA and they were no help. They said no extended warranties on the vehicle but there may be parts that were extended and to go through a dealership to figure that.

I showed Kelly BMW service department that document and they still said no.

Luckily, I found my part for $30 and can replace myself. But this is still not right that I can't get any help from BMW NA or the dealership...

When I had my 550i, I got that letter and email. And all 4 of those things went out on me on separate occasions. injectors twice. both fuel pumps. Actually, my letter said entire fuel system. What sucked was they can't just replace everything all at once, they can only replace it when it dies.

Also, it even said in the letter that if you've paid for repairs in those parts, BMW NA will reimburse you.

How'd you get them to do injectors. Feels like if fuel still comes out they won't replace them.

I was having misfires. It was the older style injectors that they were having problems with. First time it was 3 and 7, they replaced all 8 injectors with the same injectors model. Then the second time, it was 2 and 8...
By that time, BMW said they got the new improved injectors that shouldn't fail anymore.... they replaced all 8 again.
Well... injectors never failed again. But the fuel pumps did.

oh yeah.. got a recall letter about the 3rd brake light. contacted my dealer, they'll call me to make an appointment to get that mount replaced.

I asked about the hose on mine and they said it was rubber so they think it has been replaced already. Maybe they're right I haven't looked into it that much.
