Roof rail removal

I know i seen a couple members remove and install new roof rails, I was wondering if anyone knew of a detailed step by step. Would really like to remove my chrome roof rails for black. Thank you

I think you can pry on the ends to remove.
It's a mod that I was entertaining but I may need extra storage space, so bought roof rack instead!

I've read about the installation on those cars that don't come factory equipped. It involves removing the head liner.

Agree. That's the wise thing to do. The wraps have gotten so good only you and your installer will know.
