Can anyone identify my leg burn?

...and how I got it? Please ignore my sock tan. Too much golf this summer.

I'll explain in the next post

I was getting my golf bag out of my E92 trunk and wedged my leg under my car a bit. I then leaned over and into the trunk and heard the sizzle.

I couldn't get my leg out fast enough because of the weird "wedged" angle I had against the circular tailpipe. Totally sucked.

LOL! I did the exact same thing last weekend, although mine was just a semicircle and I didn't quite go for the full circular branding like you did. Good job! Mine started to bubble and it looked real ugly after a while.

Anyone care to top this with a dual circular branding? Of course that would be real tricky since you'd have to have the leg horizontal or have a tree trunk of a lower leg.

same story here with almost an identical looking burn...except it was my girlfriend getting groceries out of the car. she's says i branded her! either way, be careful with those pipes and put crap loads of mederma and aloe vera on it to lessen the scar it will surely leave. class action suit anyone?

I say everyone in this forum go brand their leg!

It's an M3 rite of passage and each burn will be graded on duration and quality.

I'm the original poster so my work here is done!

I made it a point of letting my GF know about the hot exhaust pipes and the famous ///M branding from the tailpipes....its part of the initiation of ///M owners and their S.O.

this reminds me of these threads...

Looks like this is a problem with the Mini too, and now the Federal Government is involved.

I love the post in the second thread calling it a "love bite". Thats it, its official, from now on the M3post, you can't call it a burn, its a "love nip"

Gov involved? Thats just gay. Plain old GAY. Maybe they should stick to foreign policy, the economy, healthcare and education and leave this alone. It just takes some being careful, like being careful around a pit bull, cause you never know when your beast might bite

This is taken from that link.

BMW and the federal government count a total of 32 injuries related to the engineering analysis, and no fatalities.
Fatalities? Did they really have to mention that? Its a burn from touching hot metal...
