64 in a 40 last week, cop acted like he was letting me off. He folded the ticket in a square and hid it between my license and registration. I didn't notice until 2 hours later.

Dude, that cop is so up tight that if you shove a wooden pole up his butt, it'll turn into diamond in 2 hrs.

How did you sign the ticket if he never gave you the directly? Maybe tickets are issued different than here? Just wondering and by the way tickets suck. If I could convince the U.S. to adopt my ratio policy, us M drivers could legally drive 1.5 times the speed limit.

I talked to someone else who had a similar experience, apparently they do it to avoid confrontation.

In Maryland you must sign the ticket promising to show up in court or pay, or they can take you in, i.e. arrest you. I'm surprised it's different in MA.

6th day i had my car i got pulled over for going well over the limit...ended up getting a ticket for lane change violation because he wasn't running radar and wasn't able to pace me. i was pulling in my driveway by the time he got to me. i wish he had been running radar, then i wouldn't have been speeding!

113 in a 65. It was 11:30pm, first time on the highway after break-in. Shit happens...I might have to do school to avoid points ,but at least I dont have any in my record. The cop was in a very deep part after an overpass. The V1 didnt even beep.

Yeah, I was a bit worried. It think over a 100+mph gets u reckless driving and a free ride to jail here in FL too if the cops want to be assholes but I think it was the first M3 they stopped They were like: " what year is this?"

Boy, that's the luck. Wrote up for a 94 in a 65. No such nicety for me. But to his credit, the officer was damn nice. "Don't worry sir, we'll get you on your way as quickly as possible."

yea, but I was kind of on a "spirited drive" over the previous couple hours.. had been to a car show all morning. i had easily broken the speed limit by 25+ half a dozen times, so I should probably just be happy it was only 82.

I am not against them, and I'm not slamming them or people that use them. I just think that if I got one I'd become too comfortable and get burned that 1% of the time it doesn't alert me. |
